Preparing for Your First Appointment
Before you come in, please download your initial paperwork and have it ready to turn in. If you are not able to complete your paperwork ahead of time, you can accomplish that during your first visit. It’s also helpful to bring in any imaging you’ve done in the past few years, like X-rays or CT scans.
Wear something comfortable, since you’ll be moving around.
Your First Appointment
We’ll do our best to help you start feeling better from day one. Filling out your introductory paperwork and logging into our software, ChiroTouch, gives us an idea of how we can begin applying our research and knowledge to your specific case. We’ll use that information to start asking questions while we get to know you a little bit. Dr. Phipps listens carefully before moving on to the exam and doing any X-rays as necessary.
This appointment can take over an hour and a half because we spend some time trying to resolve everything that’s wrong right away. We’ll start with some therapies, like red light or ultrasound, to help your body relax and prepare for a more effective adjustment. After that, Dr. Phipps gives any adjustments you need.
Since we start with thorough care instead of a simple crack, you’re likely to feel sore the next day. By the third day, however, you’ll feel so fantastic that you won’t know why you need to come back. The time you spend in the clinic this first day is worth it, as we get you on the fast track to healing.
